I totally agree with you! I have seen therapies being offered at what amounts to little over £5 per hour when all the slices are taken. Remember the cupcake sales run by Groupon? it bankrupted the company that agreed to it. They expect you to fill your courses and time with discounted sessions on the idea that ‘people will come back and pay full price’. Well if that was the case then they would pay full price in the first place. Bargain hunters want everything for free and their friends will want the same….. I guess you could offer a referal discount but how much is enough?

Awesome article!! I think what you’re concerned of is not so much the fact that NLP has gained recognition but that it’s become a McTheory and lost it’s creative shape-shifting edge. I would agree only partially. Don’t fret, there are some pretty awesome practitioners out there looking to make NLP an art for the razor’s edge.
